Today we drove to Avignon. Avignon is a very old town it has a wall around it so the baddies couldn't get in. We went to a market to buy food for lunch. A lady spoke to me in French and I started crying and ran off because I was scared. We took our lunch to a park. The park was on a big hill. I climbed on some big rocks. We also saw some little lizards. There was a big place where a Pope used to live. Mum and I went on a double decker merry go round. We sat. Up the top. Then we drove to another town to have dinner with our friends Josh and Khan. The town was called Saint Remy. A famous painter (Van Gogh) that cut off his ear did lots of paintings there. He was mad with himself so he cut off his ear he had to go to hospital.
