Today began with getting the key and creeping in through the gates like the dirty stop outs we are.
A lot of the park is closed up since camping in march here must seem like a crazy thing to do. It's good for us since
1) no one speaks English and my German is very rusty. So this way we don't have to have those awkward charades style conversations
2) since its deserted we can let ed run riot without worry...for him or for others.
We spent most of the day on the beach, the Baltic Sea surrounds us here and the water is so calm that when skimming stones we have to be sure to avoid the ducks and swans bobbing along near the shore.
Later we decided we better start looking presentable again, spurred on by the fact they have gorgeous hi-tech shower blocks which are a maze of different rooms with massive water features (ornaments not showers!) randomly dotted about...they also play Metallica on loop through the speakers which is a bit of a bonus.
Tomorrow we have a big day taking us from Germany to Denmark then on to Sweden via a ferry and a really really long bridge. Putting my faith in the sat nav and crossing my fingers as a back up that all these components work together smoothly!!! Wish us luck. :)

Margaret Sounds like you are all having a really super time. Lovely photos. Hope you are getting the same heatwave we are enjoying in the North West. Full marks for your blogging expertise Liz, especially the humour. Keep up the good work
Liz Ha ha thanks Margaret. I've eventually added some more, not always got an Internet signal so have to queue them up. It's a beautiful morning today (2nd April), really sunny but the heats gone. Hope you are all well.
