Berlin, Germany

31st - 31st July

Our ten munite pit stop: We only booked our journey as far as Berlin in case the coach was late to arrive, as we only had a 45 minute turn around.

Coach Times;

Munich to Berlin: 9:45 - 18:15

Berlin to Braunschweig: 19:00 - 21:30

The coach finally arrived in Berlin at 18:58! Now this didn't leave much time to get our bags and buy a ticket.

So the plan - Liam would wait and get the bags, and Cobi would find the coach, see if they would wait five minutes and buy the tickets. Cobi sweet talked the driver (who spoke virtually no English) into waiting five minutes for us, she then ran and got the tickets. During this time Liam was waiting for the very slow driver to get the bags off. The driver was very grumpy, even after asking very nicely and explaining that we were about to miss our coach he told Liam he would have to wait until he got to his bag… not very helpful. Liam finally got the bags and ran to get on the coach.

So we just about made it on the last coach to braunschweig, we didn't have to find some where to stay the night in Berlin at short notice after all.

Braunschweig here we come!
