We got on board the Anaconda III after our briefing on Friday evening and found our small cabin down near the bow. The morning after our stay at the Capricorn Caves campsite, we drove the short distance down the road from the campsite to the caves themselves. We signed up for the first tour of the day and were soon being led up to a great crack into the nearby hillside and into the interesting dry limestone caverns. We arrived in the tiny beachside town of Agnes Water in the evening and made our way immediately to a backpackers called Cool Bananas where we had been told we could park the van and stay cheaply overnight.
