The Group met for the first time at the Airport Hilton in Melbourne, prior to the start of the journey. Bring on the wine.

This study tour focussed on ICT in education policy, research and implementation at the national, system and local levels for schooling. Visits included departments of education and schools plus universities to hear about latest research.

The party included 17 Australian educational leaders on visits to the US and 12 into the Scandinavian countries and Belgium.
