Day 2 finished without drama. Car sustained slight damage as rear window sticker is torn. Service crew managed to find my mobile at last stage run in longford. At check in we had no service crew as bar was open & they had done enough work finding my mobile apparently, so I undertook to do minor service myself. Got bonnet open to put oil in, couldn't get the silver tab thingy off the oil container, so I plan to top up oil before our 7 hour program tommorro...

Day 1 legit- started with splitting my jeans followed by no key to start car. Rapid return via bus & taxi saw us start almost on time. Car did most of the driving allowing me to have input when it wouldn't end in shame. Lots of speeding penalties which will be contested at the end of the event as we discuss future sponsorship. Tomorrow is the day, as we pass our crash site from last year & push on to ???

Day 1 - out of contention to win our event-45 seconds into first stage & the car exceeded the maximum speed allowed by 40kms. Navigator has been replaced by Jerome Clarkson on a Tom Tom- Russ now sits in the back. All set for the main event start tomorrow.
