Been a while since the last update so to cut a long story ill make this one as short and sweet as possible. Darwin was great, never experienced a climate quite like it, the run up to the wet season was bearable but glad to leave the humid 35 degree days behind me. Working as a detailer for a car rental company certainly tested my staying ability, I say detailer but to be fair my duties were to clean cars an drop them off at the airport, air conditioning is a life saver. The boss resembled and self professed sort of dodgy puerto rican/scottish second hand car salesman, a legend in his own right with the moustache to go. We all took part in movember and raised $600. Staying at the dingo moon hostel was as usual a pleasure, met a lot of good people. After Darwin, Adelaide was next on route to pick up my rollerblades at the old apartment an meet Mum who is visiting for the festive season, but before hand I caught up with my sister and her boyfriend for the stereo sonics day festival, Carl cox, Skrillex and other electro beasts played while we partied the day away.. After a heavy weekend me and mum met and stayed in an apartment in the beach region of adelaide known as Glenlelg. During our stay we visited museums, swam with dolphins, learnt about wines of the Barossa valley such as wolfblass and Jacobs creek and caught up with my cousin, mum and Tracey hadn't seen each other in over 16 years so it was quite an interesting dinner. After Adelaide we arrived in Melbourne for the second week, where we ate and drank in the hipster capital of Australia, a bit of light shopping mainly handbags and a lot of sightseeing. We managed to see the great ocean road which has been on my bucket list for a while, stunning, and what a beautiful day to do it. A cruise down the Yarra river and another trip to the citys botanical gardens highlighted the week so far..
