Thursday night we took a flight from Perth to Ayers Rock with Virgin Blue, since we've vowed never to fly with Qantas again if we have a choice. So we got up early on Wednesday morning ready for our trip to the supposed paradise island of Rottnest. The sun was not shining and there was a troubling amount of black clouds and wind about as we waited to board the ferry. Saturday 18th - Day One So we picked up our camper today. Its bloody massive, like a minibus converted into a studio apartment. It even beeps when you reverse. We arrived at our hostel Thursday morning. It was stressful driving the enormous motor-home through Perth CBD in rush hour, but better than dropping it off first and paying for a taxi. Well we have finally finished working!! We spent our last couple of days working in the packing shed making boxes and carrying stuff around as Craig (King of the Shed) who's in charge thought that packing pears into boxes was far too difficult a task for us.
