Zorb expert (paula), who would think rolling down hills in big water filled balls would be so much fun!! Relaxed for rest of day in polynesian spa. Started the new month chilling at waihi beach. Got to chill,theres not much else to do here. Onwards to auckland tomorrow.

Spending few days in rotarua, spent most of today hiking thru waimangu volcanic valley. It's like the land that time forgot. Off zorbing & soaking in thermal pools ( v stinky) tomorrow.

Lee about to join the locals and dive into wellington harbour. Enjoyed couple of days in wellington, culture, rain, sun, good food and wine. My fav was red pandas at wellington zoo, v cute. Now in napier, art deco city (rebuilt in art deco style after 1931 earth quake).

Left the south island today for the north island. Stunning day on the crossing of cook straights but first day in wellington & its wet & drizzly. Spent day doing some culture.

Hot sunny day,we hired bikes & cycled to the nearest vineyard about 6kms away. Had excellent day sampling wine in the sun. A little saddle sore today!!! Onwards via ferry to the north island
