These termite mounds are known as Magnetic Termite Mounds. The reason for this is because they all face the same way. It is quite an erie place as they mounds are flat in shape and resemble tombstones in a graveyard. We were told they are shaped like this and face the same way so they can received optimum sun and so heat the home.
