You can see in the distance the thousands of ducks (brown Whistler ducks) all sitting on the banks of the river. You would think these would be easy prey (sitting ducks, ha ha) for the crocodiles in Kakadu, but as our guide explained, the crodiles don't waste their energy on birds as they know they can fly away in a split second. I'm sure you can imagine the noise these ducks were making in the distance - very amusing
