This is the small town where people go 'tubing' (on tractor inner tubes) down the Mekong. Not only had poor old Lee been a bit ill after a dodgy Indian in LP, the Mekong was also really low so therefore we didn't get to go tubing after all. Also we couldn't stand Vang Vieng and couldn't wait to get out of there as it was very Benidormy with loads of embarrasing drunken idiots. God I'm getting old!
