Have finally arrived in kuala Lumpur after a diversion to Singapore. We were on the ground for about an hour in Singapore. Apparently weather was too bad to land in KL so we had to
Divert. Had a good flight, nice seat in a bulkhead area, so lots of leg room. When we finally landed in KL we were not allowed off the plane, but instead had to stay on board whilst the cleaners cleaned around us. After about an hour we were on our way again.
We arrived in Dubai about 30 minutes before our connecting flight was due to take off. As all good stories, we missed the flight to Milan.
Emirates put us up in a hotel near the airport. In some ways this was a blessing in disguise because after about 19 hours in the plane we wet both very tired. We got a shuttle to the hotel and we Both had lovely rooms. We had an enjoyable shower and relaxed before going down to dinner in the hotel restaurant. We both turned in early and enjoyed a good night's sleep.
