CORAL BAY, TURQUOISE BAY AND ARRIVAL IN EXMOUTH

I have been in Exmouth for a couple of days now, just taking it easy. There is not really anything else to do here.

We went snorkelling in Coral Bay on Tuesday. It was really pretty but didn't see anything worth mentioning. Then drove to Turquoise Bay up in near Exmouth, snorkelled again and I saw a loggerhead turtle! Up really close, and it was quite a big one too!

But I have to say, after seeing all those sharks and stuff at Ocean Park, all of which come from the area, I couldn't stop thinking of seeing a shadow with fins or some kind of giant manta ray creeping up on me!

Yesterday, in Exmouth, I managed to forget to put sun cream on my stomach, after applying it generously everywhere else. Spent the morning at the beach. Needless to say, it hurts!

This morning, I rented a bike and rode 14 kilometres through bush to get to a beach, swam there for ages and then rode the 14 kilometres home! So now I am exhausted. With a sunburnt tummy.

Time to go relax by the pool.
