Yo from Vegas!

Well can't believe our trip is over, keep thinking about it and its quite hard to digest. Feels like we are just going home after a couple of weeks holiday and then realise that its much more than that, then the enormity of the occasion feels too much to think about. Really I guess though, its not that big but then yeah it is really isn't it. When we left I couldn't believe we were leaving now can't believe we are coming home. Also not very happy that coming home fat, but found the last 7 weeks of holiday impossible to diet, hope everybody doesn't think, look at the state of them! Am very excited though, excited about so much to say, everything, well except for the credit card bill but am excited about paying it off!

Got here on Tuesday lunchtime after driving from LA in our mustang. Had booked to stay in the swish Bellagio hotel (where oceans 11 was filmed) partly as it was our anniversary and partly as it was our last couple of days and just cause we wanted to! When we got to our room found that we had a good view of all the cool views and some of the other hotels but also the huge cranes in the development nextdoor. Complained as you do and she said well I can move you but you're view will be of the freeway and Paul didn't want to pay more for a front view so learnt to ignore the cranes! Other than that rooms are very nice and bed is ultra comfy with lovely pillows! Went straight to the pool area as it was rather hot, 95 degrees! Stayed there for the rest of the afternoon with its many pools and fountain pools. When we got back to the room, Paul had arranged for flowers to be sent for our anniversary, very nice they are too! That night didn't go out till 2130, good thing about Vegas, restaurants don't close at 2100! Before we went out we connected to the wireless internet, laptop hadn't been working for wireless so the hotels free computer man fixed it for us, result! Had dinner in one of the hotels informal restaurants then had a walk around the strip, amazing how much has changed in 2 years since our last visit but guess Vegas is always changing. We then had a bit of a gamble on blackjack and were very unlucky, finally loosing $100, after all this and Paul watching cool runnings and me on the laptop, didn't go bed till 0400!

Wednesday Mam and Dad were our alarm clock again, not that wanted to get out the wonderful bed. We went and took our car back as didn't need it anymore and then had a walk around the strip and I put $20 on roulette and came out with $80. We then hit the pool again, making use of our posh hotel as when we were here 2 years ago we covered every inch of every hotel and its quite hard work! Wednesday night went out late again and had dinner in Paris hotel opposite ours, had dinner at the Mon Ami Gabi restaurant sitting outside which overlooked our hotel and the quarter hourly watershows and music which was really good. Place was really nice, setting very nice and food good and not too expensive, had decided to stay another night at Bellagio so wasn't splashing out on food, however couldn't have wished for a better setting. Unfortunately after the meal Paul developed a sudden bout of diarrhoea and found himself running to the toilet, he felt abit sorry for himself after that so we retired to the room by 0100. However for our last night of our whole trip, had a really good one!

Today is cloudy which is probably a good thing as it means I'm not desperate to sunbathe before we leave. Instead we were very lazy and stayed in the room all morning. I didn't want to leave my flowers so the florist is putting them in a box to take home, don't know how big the box is going to be, probably a very bad idea. Well nearly time to go to the airport, can't believe it!

So will see you all very soon, can't wait, 12 hour flight first though!
