Spoken to a coupla photo smart guys here, and they reckon the best bet for your b&w film is to send it back to the uk via dhl or someone. If you hang on to it, its gonna get scanned everytime you go through a customs, and the x-ray they use in the States is pretty strong.

Another choice would be to buy a processing kit and process the negs in the bathroom!! Don't try to take the mixed chemicals on a plane tho, I think you'd get stopped pdq!!!
