Have spoken to Kate-the- birthday-girl to-day, and she has asked me say her emailing and blog messaging were interrupted yeterday by a power cut at the internet cafe. Kate says thanks to everyone for the messages and emails, and she will reply asap - power and internet access permitting.  No meat eaten so far!!

Kate happy birthday, i miss you, congrats on turning 19, sending you lots of love across to india. I'm sure you will be having one of your most memorable birthdays, wish i could be there to celebrate with you. Hope it's a beautiful day over there for you. Just so you know you are not missing out i shall tll you what you would be experiencing in england right now: eurovision fever is rife and tnhe annoying t*** who sing a pizza hut a pizza hut are representing our country- ohh the shame, favourite to win is a tranny who sounds like borat, in weather news we experienced brightons equivalent of a monsoon yesterday and in politics tony blair is resigning- i think, you know i'm s*** in that area, so yes thats right f*** all, you are better off where you are!

Having read up on your adventures i am very jealous of your sea and sand, and hope you are getting on well with the nuns. Sounds like you have done an awful lot. Sadly i cannot compete, i have probably written about 2000 words in total since you last saw me and consumed large amounts of alcohol, but other than that i have achieved very little. Ohh though kate i want you to choose the new accomadation it has really cool colourful windows. Everything is good in sussex world though and i shall be finishing by  mid june, shall be a weird summer without you though.

Happy birthday, Kate!! Goodness me, the first birthday not being able to see you. I'll miss singing you happy birthday over one of your mum's delicious chocolate cakes (maybe if I ask her nicely she could make one anyway!). Hi! Just found the message board! Am printing out all the stuff for Nana as she don't know one end of a computer to another!!

Glad all is going well. Goa sounds fantastic.

I'm just back from a week in Wales with Zoe. I managed to sprain my ankle falling down the bottom stair in the hotel so had to be brought home by Green Flag.

Nana has had an allergic reaction to some face cream and has spent the last 2 weeks looking like a hamster with red swollen cheeks. She is slowly getting better now, but needs to keep out of the sun. Not that that's a problem now as the waether has turned cold and windy.
