hey there you finally got through on this sight. Grreece sounds just as I imagined it. Maybe someday I'll finally get there. Keep living our dreams Laura I love you. Granny says hi and be careful. We had a great time at the family reunion and Canal Days in Port Colborne. We went on a sailing cruise ate lots of delicious food and heard some great music. The weather was perfect not too hot and a great breeze off the lake. Stay cool and enjoy every minute XOXOXOXO

Oh my god! This trip is UNBELIEVABLE!!! I can't describe in words how AMAZING Greece and Italy have been. The place we are staying at in Greece is a stereotypical Greek Island: clear, blue water, long beaches lined with holiday buildings and full of interesting activities. I am thinking that I want to stay here longer, it is so relaxed and laid back. A perfect holiday away from the city.

Uncle Jim, it is lovely to hear from you! You sound as if you are having a relaxing summer. Which wineries did you visit in Niagara? Did you do tours and tastings?

We are spending a few days hiking through Tuscany in Italy later this month and, hopefully, we'll visit a winery there. I will be sure to take lots of photos!

Check out this hostel I am staying at on the Greek Island of Corfu: www.thepinkpalace.com. I can't wait to hit the beach! I have been missing our old cottage on Lake Huron, but I believe a Greek Island is a more than reasonable substitute!

What a great idea, Laura-I look forward to tracking your every move. Oops, sorry-that sounded creepy. Let's just say that vicarious travel is better than no travel. I just got back from a little trip myself-a weekend in Niagara with Grandma, Gail, Bob, John & Noreen. We had a fine time seeing the sights, visiting wineries and, of course, eating! Maybe someday I'll get a chance to see the REAL wine country like you will. Have a great trip, and don't pass by those internet cafes.
