Had a stop over in Iringa on our way to Malawi as it was a very long drive. Arrived at a cute campsite with hot showers - woo hoo! It was absolutely freezing though so headed to a really cute little thatched bar with seats on the floor and mini-fires and ate Amarula brownies!

Had another long drive the next day and a border crossing, luckily the border crossing wasn't as bad as expected and we arrived into Chitimba at a decent time. Set the tent up in front of the beach, which we regretted the next day as we got flooded as it had rained for about 10hrs straight that night!

Was supposed to go on a village tour the next day and visit a witch doctor but I had a really bad ear infection from getting water in my ears in Zanzibar so I just went and sat in the shade and chilled out for the day.

Left for Chinteche the next day, we arrived at the campsite and set up camp. The ATC truck that was headed north was at the campsite so we challenged them to a game of rounders, we won by a mile!

Spent the next day sunbathing and then we built a massive 12 man boat in the sand! I have to say it rocked! Had a steering wheel and a flag and everything!

Prosper (a friend from last year, who i'm visiting later in my trip) came to see me that afternoon and he kidnapped me and took me to Nkhata Bay! Had a bit of a trip around Nkhata Bay before heading back to camp that afternoon.

Next stop Zambia!
