Today we had breakfast in the resort and then went into town to do some shopping. We walked into the old town and went to the markets. We did some swimming in the afternoon because it was hot! We had more food and then went back into town for more shopping! We went to this shop with North face jackets, I got a light blue one and Jessie got a pink one.

Today we arrived in Hoi an, it is an 1 hour flight from Saigon (Ho Chi Minh). The weather is better here, it hasn't rained and is about 30 degrees. We went swimming in the pool and tried the local street food in the hotels garden. We walked around the town in the evening and looked at the night market and went across the bridges. We looked at all the stores and we also bought some things.

Today was our last day in Ho Chi Minh City. We went to the war museum for the Vietnam war and heard bad stories about people being killed. We swam in the pool at our hotel. We had a walk around the town and we went to Dimond plaza (shopping centre) and Vincom Centre (also a shopping centre) for lunch. We had a buffet lunch with different types of Vietnamese foods including rice paper rolls, Pho, noodles, rice, meats, salads and special desserts.

Today I went on the Mekong river, we tried pop rice and coconut candy and we bought two packets of different flavours, one was peanut and the other one was called plain. We got to the boat by bus and hopped on the boat when we got there. When we were going to lunch, we rode a bike to the restaurant, we all had the same food which was rice and pork and rice paper rolls. Dad had some fish but we didn't have any. Today we went to the post office (in the picture), the People's Committee, Vincom centre which is a huge shopping centre, Ben Than market, Notre Dame Cathedral and Nguyen Hue which looks like a huge foot path and then all of a sudden water shoots up. Jessie had to run through it because she was hot! We went swimming in the pool and walked at least 10kms! It is very hot here, Jessie and I are having a lot of fun.
