On Sunday morning we relaxed on Cardiff beach (see previous blog for details) before visiting a wildlife reserve and then made our way back up the coast towards Los Angeles in search of Disneyland! We found a motel just outside of the park and waited in anticipation for the joys that Monday would bring!

After psyching ourselves up with coffee and pastries we journeyed into the magical land of Disney! Let's just say the Yanks know how to do a theme park. Laura loved it! On Tuesday we drove around a very wet and miserable L.A visiting the Hollywood sign and looking at celebrities houses in Beverly Hills. Our flight was due to leave at 23.30 but unfortunately it was delayed by 16 hours due to "mechanical difficulties" (how reassuring) so we were put up in a hotel until Wednesday when our flight left at 16.00.

This marks the end of our American adventure and it has not disappointed. However our cholesterol and waistlines will be thanking us for leaving! Our next leg takes us to Fiji where we spend 5 days before flying to New Zealand for 6 weeks!
