OK so we arrived in LA BABY!!!

After a 10 hour flight, gaining a day in time and having to collect luce's bra off the carousel, due to it having fallen out of my backpack - nice (I was so not ready to be running around the airport trying to catch it - mauled!!!!). And so it begins!!

LA:

Us and lil Corrinna (J-Lo) picking up our red Dodge Calibur hire car ( we had got up-graded) and headed for Hollywood to try and find a motel. Trying to get used to the whole driving on the other side of the road and car we got a little lost in Inglewood!! but finally made it in one piece before we headed out to Target for some treats - here is where Corrinna got 'spotted' by 'open your eyes' hmmmm. Don't really know about that??!!

Anyway we chilled that night and caught up with sleep before the next day making our way for Venice beach for the day which was full of a real mix of people - wicked place. Anyway after luce drove onto the on-coming traffic, hey 'i'm English!!' We were soooo excited as we was to be picking Annabel up from the airport after 10months for her 2week hols with us!!!

So the road trip began!!!

The following day we did the whole tourist thing including; Kodak theatre, Chinese Theatre, walk of fame, Celebrity home tour..... J-los, Leo D, Elton Johns, GEorge Michaels...toilet, Fresh Prince etc etc. It was so fun! We then had a little retail therapy and Hooters for dinner!!! Before our night out..... We began with drinks around Sunset Plaza then Les Deux (supposadly LA's place to be). We had a wicked night with all the girlies, ended up at house parties in Bel Air!!!! Meeting Eminem and Dr Dres bodyguard and Annie got to visit G-units studio - hilarious.

San Francisco:

The next day....hungover Lol, Annie and Luce had to really start our road trip with a 6 hour drive to San Fransisco -nice!! Once arriving we checked into a motel to then have the next day seeing the city sights by tram, we went on a boat trip seeing the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. It was so chilly though and a little foggy but ended the day off with a nice meal at Applebys in which the manager payed for as we were English....what a treat!!!

Yosemite National Park:

Saturday we headed for at 4hour drive to Yosemite which was a little longer than we had imagined!!! Anyway we eventually arrived and checked into a little hillbilly place in Fish Camp and sunned it for the afternoon in the....carpark! Yosemite is beautiful though, really picturesque. We visited Yosemite village, Glacier Point, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls before heading for Lone Pine for the night to break up our V long journey to:

LAS VEGAS BABY:

After driving through Death Valley seeing nothing but road, mountain, dirt and more road Vegas came from no where!!!

We checked into our hotel.... The Luxor which was just gorgeous!!! Our room was mint, the hotel was crazy, restaurants, a couple of pools casinos etc all that jazz. No clocks, no windows and it pumps oxygen out so you are awake longer..... YEAH Vegas!

We chilled in the afternoon by the pool before someone was sick in it so we made a swift exit so went to get dolled up for our first night out in VEGAS BABY!

We ate a gorgeous meal in the hotel before heading to the Mandalay Bays club Rum Jungle. It was wicked, girls swinging from the ceiling, trapezes and shots.....

Up and out the next day to see Vegas by day. We visited the stips hotels; Bellagio, Caesers Palace (were we all got made overby Mac make-up) New York, New York, MGM, Wynn, Planet Hollywood. It was just incredible, very surreal. We met a few people on the street who sorted us our night out - random but again being English comes in useful sometimes.

That afternoon we headed back to cool down by the pool but Lucy and Anni ended up getting dunked like drowned rats in the pool by the Canadian Egyptians - not a good look!! Later on that night we headed for the best $28 on Bellagios all you can eat buffet. H-amazing! Once overcoming the food coma we headed for Pure nightclub in Casears Palace. It was the most amazing place, we had a wonder around before heading upstairs to the outside area which was un-believable. It was full of VIP areas over looking Vegas strip. We had been up there 5mins before been asked by Brian the Samoan bouncer would we like to join some VIPs for cocktails...hmmmmm, go on then! Here is were we met LA guys including Tom (funny as) and the lovely Sam, we had a great night drinking then danced the night away along side....Teddy,Teddy Sherringham and DMX.

Wednesday, was certainly a day for being by the pool, hungover we chilled and sorted ourselves out for our last night in Vegas baby. Anni was not feeling the love so slept a little which Luce and Lol played 21s with the Egyptians before picking up Anni and heading out around 2am for Tangerine in Tropicana hotel. It was good but full of sweaty pushing Americans, we was not feeling the love so headed back for an early start to:

Grand Canyon:

Taking about 6hours to drive we finally got there through dirt, dust and 125degree heat. It was well worth it though, it was incredible!!!! 6pm we set off for Needles were we stayed for the night before:

San Diego:

We arrived there a little later than expected so just chilled on the beach with an ice-cream before we decided to head back to LA. Through Laguna Beach, New Port finally getting to Venice beach.

LA:

We ate and then crashed in....the ghetto!! Our motel came with.....a punch mark on the bathroom door, nasties on the towels, a door that didn't lock properly and not one but two wake-up calls in the middle of the night by some w**** bag who wanted to see her baby??..... think you have the wrong room!!!

The next day we hit Malibu beach and Venice beach for a little shopping, then to Hollywood for our last night out with Anni.

We managed to wangle our way into Les Deux once again, it's all in the accent. Just after BFB (big fat Britney.yes that's spears) walked in!!! We missed her though as she went straight for the VIP upstairs, whatever. Some random home and away girl was there as was the guy from my wife and kids.....gutted we wanted Big Fat Britney.

Sunday was one of the best days though, really topped our time with anni off. We met up with Sam who we met in Vegas and his friends (the lovely Sam, Mav and Tom) who took us to LA Angels Vs Texas Rangers baseball game in Anaheim - Amazing!!! We all had the best day! We got to watch the game from the front stands with a hotdog!!! yeah!!! Then made our way to the Diamond corporate suits for drinks and food and a better view of the ball game. It was such a wicked day before we headed to New port Beach to Mavs house on the river were we all chilled and played a little golf off the bank - ha! So funny. Then Sam (who works for Beckhams LA management team) treated Lucy to a BECKHAM LA 'soccar' shirt - absolutley loved it!

Sam then decided to take us all to Cali-beach for Sushi where we all danced with wood blocks to a Phil Collins tune - random but such a fantastic day and we wasn't allowed to pay for anything!!! those boys!!!

The following day after 2 amazing weeks we took Ruby the car back and sadly said goodbye to Annabel where she went back to England and we flew to the windy city of Chicargo!!!!!
