After swapping the disorganised chaos of India for the very well organised chaos of Tokyo, we are now here in Hong Kong for a wee Xmas break. So many skyscrapers, even our hostel is on the 9th floor. So, we wander through the bright lights of the big city and enjoy a little warmth before heading up to Beijing for minus temperatures. Hope everyone is well. Nick

India.........the beginning of 3 months in this huge and fascinating land. A tour of Rajasthan to kick off proceedings and there's so much to see. No letting the rain spoil the fun. Onwards we go.

After Cambodia's spectacular Angkor Wat and rather unspectacular road system, I'm off to Nam. A tour of duty or hopefully pleasure!! I will and avoid the crazy bikers, the muggers and beggars, theives, bag snatchers and hawkers. Other than that it should be cool. I will let you know. Be safe Nick

In Bangkok now. Travelled up through Southern Thailand, Hat Yai and on to Ao Nang just above Krabi. Limestone caves and mad rocks sticking out of sea. Went sea kayaking round them and snorkelling then to do a thai cooking course!! A few people died around there in Tsunami but it's all back to normal now just very quiet and locals say has been since Xmas. Shame theyre suffering. Cheap rooms though!!
