So I spent my final 9 days in Australia in Sydney before I headed home. I had the best time! On the first day we got there in the late afternoon so just went out for some dinner and dunks along Darling Harbour. On the second day we did a beach walk from Coogee Beach to Bondi which was great and so was the weather! We went out to Side Bar, the bar underneath the hostel, in the evening with some girls that we had met on the beach walk! On the third day we went to Manley beach for some of the day, we had to get a ferry there and the beach was so pretty but we left when it started to rain! We went out in the evening to the most delicious Thai restaurant that was recommended to us. On the fourth day I went out with some girls that I had meant in the hostel and we walked around Sydney visiting different markets as well as the harbour bridge and the opera house! We went for lunch along the harbour and then went to Westfield shopping centre. In the evening we went for a couple of drinks in the bar but didn't drink too much as had a festival to go to the next day. On the Saturday we went to electric gardens festival and it was the best day! We went to pre drinks at this boys apartment that we had met and had drinks on his rooftop where there was a pool and a tennis court! We went to the festival around 4pm and were there until 11pm, Fat Boy Slim was headlining and his DJ set was amazing! On the Sunday we went to a market and went down to barangaroo for the afternoon. On the Monday our friend Amy that we met in Melbourne and who had come on the Great Ocean Road trip with us arrived in Sydney so we spent the day showing her around and in the evening we went on a night out together. On the Tuesday it was Australia Day so we spent the day with friends. First we went down to Darling Harbour for a couple of drinks, then we went to someone's apartment for drinks and games and then in the evening (around 9pm) we went down to Darling Harbour to watch the fireworks. They were amazing! After this we got some food and then went back to the hostel. On the Wednesday (my last full day in Sydney) we went to Coogee Beach and just chilled. We went out with the new people in our room in the evening and had such a laugh on my final night! On the Thursday it was unfortunately time for me to go home so I checked out of Wake Up hostel and flew back to the UK.
