We arrived on Gili Air around 5pm and got a horse and cart to our hostel Ardi Beltza which was on the other side of the island. We checked in and then went for dinner at a nearby Mexican restaurant. Me and Sophie shared the nachos and the enchiladas and they were so so good! The restaurant was right on the beach so the views were really good and the restaurant was lit by all fairy lights and candles. The island is pretty small and we were on the quiet side so there isn't too much to do so we went back to the room and played cards.
The next day we chilled by the pool all day and went for lunch along the beach. In the evening we all got dressed up and watched the sunset with cocktails and sitting on bean bags. We got some nice photos all together on the beach and then it started to really rain! We had to sit under cover for a while and then when it subsided we walked along the beach to a restaurant called Le Bistro to have dinner. Just as we left the restaurant the power cut off so the walk home was dark! We got back and chilled again as it was still slightly raining and the power kept coming on and off in waves.
The next day we checked out of our hostel and chilled around the pool again during the day. We then moved to a new yoga hostel. The new hostel was really cool, it had little bungalows dotted around and had a pool in the middle. It also had two studios, one for meditation and one for yoga. When we arrived a meditation class was taking place so we had to be very quiet when checking in, unfortunately Ngaire stood on a cats tail, the cat screamed and then we all screamed so it is safe to say we definitely interrupted it! We did a yoga class at 5pm, which was hard and very sweaty but was good! We went out for a nice meal along the beach as it was Ngaire and Jess last night with us! The food was so so good.
The next day we said goodbye to the girls in the morning as they went off to get a boat back to Bali and then their flight home the next day and we chilled around the pool all day until it was time to get our boat to Gili T as Georgina and Sophie were going to do their Padi.
