We are off on our next adventure - away for ten days and have flown into Sydney and are staying in Darling Harbour- arrived ok on our tiger airways 28 dollar flight not bad Dolores nearly as cheap as I can get to Ireland - can only say absolutely amazing - I am struggling to keep up with the blog as we are trying to pack so much in, doesnt give us much time inbetween doing and seeing things to write them up
Need to start by saying weather is not on our side over here and cannot beleive you have sunshine over there and we have rain following us everywhere but it is not stopping us - we will just have to do the sun beds in Mornington on our last week,
As I said arrived in sydney and found our hotel in Darling harbour, absolutely love it, Sai Ling will love it here - might have to come and join her medical practice when she is settled, we set off on a cruise up to sydney Harbour bridge and opera house - only way to describe it when you first see it is - goose bumps - amazing site from the boat as you will see from the photos, Ang & Sian had a fantastic surprise from Auntie Jane when we got here by receiving a text message asking what time would they like to climb the bridge - she had very kindly booked for them to Climb to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge so thats tomorrow adventure - I have located the nice little pub to sit and watch their ascent from the balcony, unlike my wet suit the climbing suits were a tad on the small side - so decided to give it a miss - nothing to do with the fact that I would be hyper ventilating by the end of the first vertical climb honest.................................
We have had a phone call from Sam my godson and met him for dinner this evening - we had a hilarious time with him hearing all about his adventures in his first few months over here - he has now found his self a very good job in the West Pac bank head quarters over looking darling harbour - and is absolutely loving every minute of it and I can report back to Paula how well and happy he is. We ate in a place called The Meat & Wine Company as it is named steaks and wine and cocktails were fantastic - was somewhat worried though when Sam finished his meal with a glass of green tea - think he was trying to say he was eating and drinking healthily - not to mention the beers and cocktails we had had throughout the evening!!!!!
Absolutely love sydney and would redomend that first sight for everyone to experience.

Dolores Hi Teresa, You are right it was a very cheap flight to sydney, got your postcard that you sent it was a lovely picture of the sydney Opera house. It was really nice of your sister to book Sian and Ang a climb to the top of the Syndney Harbour bridge but really think that you should have climbed it with them. Your Blogs are very interesting so keep up the writing nice to be able to see and read how you are getting on. bye for now hope to speak to you soon, Dolores.
Elaine Wow. You sound as though you really are having the time of your lives. Keep enjoying as time coming to an end, make the most of every second left. Love Elaine
