Guten Abend! (good evening)
We arrived in Frankfurt at 6am. Getting around proved to be a little more difficult than we expected (especially when your carrying around 3 bags each and cant read german). We finally found our hostel which was located on their red light district, right down the road from "LIVE NUDES XXX" and across the street from "AMERICA PEEP SHOW" haha, oh well.
We wandered around in search for any place to give us a beer (dont judge, it was 11 pm at home). We wandered around on our own little pub crawl where we tried different german beers, sampled the infamous local favourite, apple wine and schmoozed with the bartenders in an attempt to expand our german vocab.
Tonights goal is the find an authentic german restaurant, eat a whole bunch, drink a whole bunch than finally get some sleep!
ps We searched and searched for the authentic german meal, but couldnt find anything wtf?! donair it is i guess
Frieden (peace out)

Krista Wow! haha Sounds like a definite adventure! Please post lots of pictures :-) Stay safe, Krista
Lauren We stayed at a hotel in the red light district... just by the main train station. There is an AWESOME German restaurant right by there that has such good schniztel and goulash soup. I can't remember the exact name/location but if you're walking away from the train station heading towards the headlight district it's on the main road a little ways down and has a nice outside seating area. And i'm pretty sure it's beside/by an ice cream shop and just a bit past the McDonald's. It's been 3 years so i'm a little foggy but hope that helps.
