Day 10 This morning we left Wilpena at 8:30 in the morning and made our way to Port Augusta for fuel, then Woomera for lunch. We played in the park where there are very old rockets and planes. We then drove to Roxby Downs.

Day 9 Today we travelled to Blinman and went on the old copper mine tour, it was cool. We then drove through Parachilna Gorge onto Parachilna where they serve emu, camal and kangaroo, I didn't try this but my dad did.

Day 8 This morning we went to Arakroo rock to look at some ancient aboriginal rock paintings. It was a pretty hard walk but I enjoyed it. That afternoon we went Sacred Canyon to see some aboriginal rock carvings, they were pretty good, another big day!

Wilpena Pound, South Australia

Day 7 This morning we got on a bus and travelled to Wilpena Pound which was an old farm, but not a very successful one! Lots of rain ruined crops, other years draught killed lots of sheep. In the afternoon we went for a drive to Brachina Gorge and also saw the Aroona ruins, it was a big day.

Day 6 Today we visited Wilpena Station. It is huge but no longer a working farm, it once had sheep, a blacksmith, a cemetery, a homestead and workers quarters. We had fun here because we could explore it by ourselves and play in a lot of the buildings that are there. It's part of the national park now.
