So... we arrived into New Zealand from Spanish speaking Argentina and were most impressed to hear our first Kiwi accent. Now we had already been warned by Emma and Dayna that it was a very interesting accent but this did not prepare us for the amusement of actually hearin it first hand! After this initial fun we then had to get down to the more imprtant business of getting through customs. Now being the good honest girls that we are this should have been fine but...

After our mad rush to the airport we did make our flight and arrived back into Argentina a few hours later where we jumped into a taxi and unknowingly took our lives in our hands as we were driven through the streets of Buenos Aires by a wannabe Lewis Hamilton who wouldn't have known a speed limit if it had hit him in the face! We should really have been used to this but i was still gripping the seat with my eyes closed! By some stroke of pure luck we did arrive ...

Ok so from looking at the stunning waterfalls in Iguazu we hopped it back on a bus ready to head to Rio. We had to catch our bus after the Brazilian border so jumped in a taxi and had the quickest, easiest border crossing ever (no one with guns checking for drugs and no questions asked in a language we don't understand!) We arrived at the bus station waiting for our plush 24 hour bus journey as buses in Argentina and Brazil are said to be amazing....or maybe not!...

So the four of us arrived in Potosi,(the highest city in the world and home of the silver mines) and headed straight for bed after our long and bumpy 10 hour journey. We woke up and for some reason unknown to me and helen, booked a tour that takes you down the famed silver mines....sounds like fun! So we hopped on our bus from Uyuni, heading to Argentina (and we hoped some civiliasation!) Just before getting on the bus some lovely Bolivians who were sniggering at me from afar came across to ask me how I could wear leggingings in the freezing temperatures of Bolivia....luckily they had no camera to snap the evidence of the stupid westerner and this was to be our last communication with the lovely Bolivian folks...sad times!
