Sunday 20th Feb 10.30am Auckland

Feeling pretty tired now. Yesterday I got up early to to Piha beach which is really beautiful. It may have black sand but it has really pretty green hills surrounding it. There was some thundercat (boat) racing in the sea which was pretty cool. The Sea was pretty calm but usually the boats are racing each other and also battling with 6ft waves - Really awesome Dude! Sweet As! (Just a few Kiwi expressions I have picked up!)

In the evening I painted my face blue and supported the Auckland Blues Rugby team victory at their home stadium of Eden Park before having a few bevvies with the people I met at the Rugby. I have only just washed the Blue off of my face!

Anyway big tour starts today so I am pretty excited! First stop Rotorua where I will be staying on a traditional Maori place learning about their local customs and history!
