Well here we are winging our way to downtown Hong Kong. Please excuse me sounding pretentious, but loving Premium Economy. (mind you, can see through to Business Class and if Beau wins a few more races - he can pay for an upgrade). Drinks on sitting down, fancy shmancy personal gift bag filled with hand creams and insignia socks, and the most exciting thing for Johno - lamb cutlets on the menu for lunch!
Love the people watching at airports. Had the standard, 'I hope everyone thinks I am cool guy', wandering around with ear phones in, speaking loudly into his lapel phone microphone, so that all passengers boarding planes from Gate 30 to 35, could hear every word of his conversation with someone obviously very important. Then of course there are the couples embarking on a world trip together who do not speak to one another. In actual fact, they seem to dislike each other intensely! Wouldn't they be fun to share a table with at dinner?
John is well prepared as you can imagine. He has researched, and printed up so much information, that it has been sorted chronologically into a 4 volume best seller. The lady at the check in really threw him when she asked to see our connecting flight details for Germany - well this wasn't expected as it was wedged somewhere between an aerial google map of Rome airport and walking guides to all the best bars in Berlin! Thank goodness the information is also alphabetised, and 'B' wasn't too hard to locate:)
Well, time to settle back and watch a movie before the cutlets arrive.
