Hi, I got your postcard - the experiment worked! John is still waiting for his Birthday cards from his family - it was in July - so it doesn't work every time. But really appreciate you sending it and remember to go to Beachcomber! The weather has cooled - the Russian winter is looming and I haven't got my coat that you're dad said was very Russian!

Thanks for the postcard - sounds as though you are having a great time. Just sorry that you aren't here with us in Libreros as we are having a great time too! We're getting your Mum and Dad painting tomorrow or should I say sunbathing with a little painting thrown in! We're saving the bit behind the pool for you Phil!!

We're very impressed with the photos we've seen so far, but thank goodness your mum didn't bring the discs with her otherwise work would stop for the whole week!!

Your mum is going horse riding in the next few days, so watch this space!!!

We do envy you all that sunshine but we are off to the south of France in about 2 weeks so are hoping to get a bit warmer !! It was great to see you in San Francisco. We arrived back in Manchester, England (sic) easily enough. Just need to shake off the jet lag now! I've got photos and video to send you which I'll do this week.

Hi Sis - just round at mum and dad's loading MP3 players before holiday tomorrow . . . . soory not e-mailed you for ages can't really get on much at work. Seen the video of Phil drunk and made me giggle. Me and Jamie are off to Corfu tomorrow for 2 weeks of sunchine, really excited! (not as good as round the world trip though!)
