Finally got an internet cafe that doesnt charge too much and has reliable internet - woo hoo! So since we left you in kruger park (which was amazing!) We headed into swaziland, a small country slap bang in the middle of east south africa. They seemed to be better off there with brick houses instead of mud huts and lots of people out wearing traditional dress rather than rags.
Only spent a night there then headed to st.lucia for 2 days, this is a little bit of paradise sitting on the coast, where baboons and monkeys roam the streets and the locals are very friendly. We went to the beach for a day, roasting hot indian ocean and white sand - mmmmmm. Then today we headed to the estuary that sits beside the town where for a couple of pound you can jump on a boat and go hippo and croc watching. We got some great views of a hippo family and there are something like 1200 crocs in a 6km stretch of river so there were hundreds of those! Got on the baz bus this afternoon and headed to Durban, the third largest city in south africa. We are only here for a night then heading to Umbaze tommorow (aka banana beach) where we are sleeping in a tree house for a night (with monkeys everywhere!)
Went for a wander in Durban this evening, came across a theme park/marine world where in the evenings you are free to roam around the shops, so we saw most of the attractions as well. When we do get some decent internet time i'll get all the photos up. Kezz is tearing his hair out at the slow internet here!
We're off to have a beer in the rooftop bar and watch Durban fall asleep.
Hope everyones ok - keep in touch, we'll phone you worrying parents soon
