Bit od a long haul. We caught a taxi to Chesterfield Coach station and a coach on to Heathrow via London Victoria. The baggage allocation for the flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia was a mere 15 kg so our bags were the lightest they have ever been and we wore all our thick coats and jumpers and walking boots to keep down the weight. Race day we left early. Our seats were brilliant. We could see the run up to Casino Square, the descent from the tunnel and all along the harbour front to Rascasse. There were plenty of very posh yachts in the harbour and some of those on board never looked once at the race. Loved it. In the evening we had a meal in the Michelin starred starred Alain Llorca restaurant - very pedestrian.

Beautiful hot day. Drove down to Monaco and headed for the wrong grandstand. Eventually made it to Casino Square for Free Practice 3. The cars flashed by but luckily there was a big screen just ahead of us. Hard to get photos as the cars come so fast! Lots of Ricciardo and JB fans around us. We were up early for breakfast and then got on a coach to Cannes. The coach was too big to get out of the road we are on so it had to reverse which took half an hour. The film festival is on at the moment and lots of hotels have big posters on them.
