We met some lovely people at our camp spot near Dubbo. Laurie and Helen from Queensland have been on the road quite a bit, criss-crossing the country. So they had some good traveling advice and some good stories to tell Kent around the campfire (I was trying to get Callen off to sleep, unsuccessfully!). Tamworth to Dubbo First stop in Tamworth this morning was the visitor information centre which also houses the Walk a Country Mile Museum - this was pretty interesting as it outlines the growth of Australia's country music and had some really cool memorabilia. Port Macquarie to Tamworth After packing up the bus and preparing as much as we could, we said our goodbyes to Alix and set out on the road again. Alix took us for a drive around Port Macquarie yesterday. At Lighthouse Point we saw some surfers riding waves on the beach and took Tucker for a run on Nobbys Beach. Callen was still very tired from our massive day/night before so he slept quite a bit and was a bit whingy.
