So ladies and gentlemen here we are at another destination for another journal entry. we have been in Perth just over a week now, it has been a good week, very eventful, and a hell of alot more expensive than Thailand. So we arrived here last tuesday, very hot when we arrived, arrived at my sisters, greeted by all the woodleys, other halfs and the little nephews!!! spent tuesday chilling out, wednesday we visited the local beach, battled the waves and the currents like the true bodyboarding pros that we are!!! thursday we spent the day exploring Fremantle, had our first beer in a pub on ozzie soil, a rip off i might add, watched the cricket, hopes were high at that point (this was thursday)!!! on sunday we travelled up to the WACA, to watch the fourth day of the third test, loving the fact that we were going, in the days building up to it we thought we might not make it!! Arrived in Perth, loads of english and barmy army about, we met the leader of the army aswell!!!!! (tom, my brother was a bit excited, shaking like a s***ting dog when he took the photos). So the day at the cricket was set...... went about getting the beers in, whilst baking in the sun, at the same time we were praying England last the day and that we saw some good cricket, you all know how the day panned out, we were pretty lucky to see so much cricket really, had an awesome day, great seats, and some absolutley crazy ozzies behind us!!! we were riding on the crest of a wave, us bournemouth boys!!!!!up close brett lee is a staunch young man!!!

we have just arrived back at chuck's sisters house after a couple days down south with bazza himself, chuck, thomas crown, baz and myself started our road trip heading down south towards margaret river, the haven for backpackers apparently, it was a really cool chilled out town with the usual shops, surfing outlets and of course a subway!! we visited the beach down there where the surf comps are held, us experienced bodyboarders (after durban & perth) did not brave these waves as they were totally knarly dude!! and the past few days have been reports of shark attacks on surfers off the west coast, so we stayed well away. one notable point of margarets river was the extremely hot barmaid in margaret river hotel, well worth a visit if anyone is down that way, especially you harriss!! on the next photo addition look out for the funny aussie road signs we have been photographing, they are quite funny see if you can spot them!! apart from looking after babies and dogs, australia is going to be an amazing place to be over the next six months, to the el banditos this is the place to be for totti!!
