Thought that you would like to see our garden as it was when when we returned home. It was so beautiful to see everything flowering especially those that I'd not seen in flower before. My watermelon is the size of a a child's ball and my two tomotoes are just going red!! Sad aren't I? The picture above is like a bulb flower and since I rescued it from under the hedge and separated it I have had lots of flowers.

Madang So we're home! Arrived back yesterday at 5pm, to a lovely welcome from staff that were around. Made me tearful. House lovely and clean etc. Ate at the restaurant [of course] and to bed. Today Ken went to do the shopping to find at 7am that the shops had queues a mile long and four deep! Had no idea why but he came home and we had breakfast at the restaurant!! Tried later to shop to discover the same and then found that the market wasn't open. Why? New Ye...

Our last two days in Cairns we toured around in a hire car. We visited the Morris Lake and had a spectacular view over Cairns. We then drove on up through the Barron Gorge to the Barron Waterfall and walked through the rain forest on a suspended walk way. Quite magical. We looked at the Village but decided it wasn't for us! But we did see the scenic route train arrive which was interesting and confirmed our susciptions that we were glad we hadn't wasted $100 [eac...
