The less said about this place, the better! We spent a night here because we arrived too late to catch the last ferry over to Utila, our next port of call. We arrived at our hostel after a 10 hour bus ride and hid out in our room until it was time to leave again. I overheard another traveller asking whether it was safe to walk down to the nearby supermarket - the answer was that yes, it was perfectly safe, just be sure not to take anything of value with you (in case you were mugged). I'm only really writing about it because we spent a night there so it has to go on the blog map.

Needless to say, we caught the first ferry out the next morning! La Ceibe may have its charms, but we were privy to none of them.

Onwards to Utila!
