So today I travelled for 30 hours left yesterday 2pm Hawaii time, 5 hour flight 2 hour stopover in la, 7 hour flight train to nyc subway to port authority, 2 hour bus to Newark, dropped in a random place with no cash in 30 degree heat! Got a $14 taxi to the nearest train station then realised I'm meant to be in Newton! Not Newark! It's only an hours drive but no bus there so it back to nyc and another bus to camp where I finally get picked up but have missed dinner, move into the cabin with the other councillors no electricity, lights or windows rattle snake in the bathroom so not a great first day until the camp director orders pizza and makes everything better!
