First night in vegas was pretty uneventful got in after midnight and so decided to save ourselves for tomorrow night, the hotel was the same one I stayed in last time and felt amazing to stay in a real bed! The next day we did the rides at the top of the hotel including my favourite which hangs you over the top of vegas looking over the strip! It was 44 degrees today which made the rides slightly more interesting as it was impossible to hold to the seat without getting 1st degree burns! Next we ventured down he strip and had to get the iconic tourist picture with the welcome to vegas sign which is actually a lot further out than you would expect and it's crazy that so many people do it, the walk itself is only around 10 minutes but in 45 degree heat it feels like hours. We explore some more of the strip going in and out of air conditioned buildings every 2 minutes just to stay alive, Kim then decides she's had enough and goes of to find a happy hour, we eventually find her an hour later at the Hard Rock Cafe pretty smashed and decide to have dinner there. Then we head back to the hotel to get ready. We start the night with some predrink a and drinking games in he room, Kim has decided not to come, think she has sunstroke/dehydration but the rest of us head to a club in ceasars palace called omnia which some promoter harassed us about, so lucky we got on the guest list though as the line is huuuuge even though it's just a Tuesday night the club was packed. There was a roof top terrace and downstairs was a huge nightclub which had all sorts of crazy things going on including a moving ceiling, or maybe that was the tequila. So this is where the night started getting out of hand: coralie had my purse as I didn't bring a bag, then we lost her in this huge club and we were just never going to find her again so we have up. Kelly was talking to some Scottish guys and wanted to go back to theirs, being the great friend and excellent wing man that I am I went with her, they were stayig at the aria which is an amazing hotel with awesome views of vegas and buttons to open the curtains! What?! Any way so she's doing her thing while I'm eating Doritos and watching the huge tv and at some point I fell asleep, wake up the next morning and she's gone!! So I'm in this random hotel with no money, phone or shoes! With some random Scottish guys who I don't even know their names! Great. Luckily the boys were nice enough to lend me some clothes and $20 so I could get home which I promised I would return, but you know, didn't. Safe to say I was not happy with Kelly when I eventually got back to the hotel! The rest of the day we tried to recover and did some gambling, I taught coralie to play roulette and she just kept winning! With the last dollar I said I was going to spend I got her to pick the number and it came up! After some well deserved ice cream we bought with our winnings I got ready for my 5 hour bus journey to la! Yay!
