Hi everyone

Hope you are all ok!

Well I got here fine after a very long journey and my 3 flights! The first day (yesaterday) I was just a complete zombie as had really bad altitude affects! We had a group opening party last night and they were all in fancy dress and all got very drunk - they all seem really fun and pretty wild so I think I should be fine! I was actually sensible for once and didn´t drink much so was very well behaved - they haven´t seen the real me yet - he, he!

Anyway La Paz is a little strange place but really cool! Yesterday they had a festival on and the streets were just full or markets and people! The woman walk around with ponchos on their backs and there are sweet little children all over the place!

I´m sure this will all make you laugh - today I visited the Bolivian prison´- famous for its world renowned cocaine! It was a pretty surreal experience and we paid 25 pounds for some guy to show us around and talk in his cell! To make it worse after an hour and half of talking I was desparate for a wee - so yes Katie Taylor went for a wee in the Bolivian prison! The guy was extremely disappointed that we didn´t want any coke - as aprantly out of the 7,000 visistors that have come 6,800 of them have just come their for that! It was really weird and there were children running around the place - they surrounded me as some guy gave me sweets to take in - later they asked who brought the sweets in - oops!

For those of you that are wondering, there is not really any talent...Well there is one really cute guy who I defiantly fancy but he is going home today - god dam it! Oh well I have made friends with a cool gay sweedish guy if thats any concilation!

Have an early start tomorrow morning (530am) for a 12 hour bus journey. We are going to see the salt flats Tuesday which is the one thing I am really looking forward to!

The real camping does not start to next week - so watch this blog!
