What a full on, busy day; and I've loved every moment of it! I woke up and the first thing I did was look out my bedroom window (every morning it's something new) and I saw snow! Not like the previous two days, but thick snow! Easily 7cm covered everything! And then it started snowing more! I'm like a kid in a candy store in this weather :)
After seeing this, my morning was planned. I was to build my first snowman! I took a tip from my Mum, which was to start of with a snow ball and roll it around in the snow. It worked! And about 30 minutes later, Billy was formed :) I was super excited. I went through the whole process of giving him arms, eyes, a nose, a scarf and hat! Very smart snowman he was.
Today was the last day I had use of a car, so I took my Grandpa for a drive to West Kirby and back. It was a true winter wonderland. I've never seen snow in its full beauty. You couldn't wipe the smile off my mouth.
Next stop was to hand the car back, then go shopping for the afternoon. This resulted in a few things including new boots for my Contiki next week. I ended this with lunch at Carluccio's which was chicken liver pâté on Italian bread for the entree and fresh ravioli with spinach and ricotta. Delicious. Absolutely delicious!
Came home to spend time with Tom (6 year old cousin) and then relax whilst reading up on my Contiki and a drive out with my Aunt. What's left for tonight is to decide what meal to cook for my family tomorrow night. Chicken or lamb (such hard decisions we must make when on holiday :p )
