Kia ora Kath, great photos!..Its not really fair tho, you have been to Great Barrier and I haven't. Mind you I dont think I have any great urge too now that I know from you about lack of hot water etc. Sounds as tho you are having a fantastic time. I wouldnt mind going to Waiheke Island, maybe you could check that out for me? Oh and your friends' challenge about the cocktail in a restaurant in the sky tower needs to be made a bit more exciting by following it with a bungy jump from the tower I reckon.. *grins*.. Right, have been thinking about South Island adventures for you to have..Nelson of course needs NEEDS needsss to be on the agenda. If meeting me isnt adventurous enough, we have all sorts of things here like tandem skydiving, riding the sky wire across a valley, um kayaking around the bays..whitewater rafting, wine trails.. ummm arts and crafts, fantastic beaches, national parks..... The ferry ride across Cook Strait is a wee adventure in itself and then after Nelson you could do the rest of the South Island including the West Coast (Beautiful) Queenstown,Mildford Sound, Dunedin, Mount Cook,Christchurch.....I could go on but wont for now..ka kite and take care x

hey you. nice to hear from you. am in barcelona having fun. will write again soon. just wanted to say hi and also to ask whether you are feeling particularly creative with the photos as u seemed to have scanned them in sideways... which, going by the comments of bitterness from your friends is not going to make them love you any more as not only do they have to see beautiful pics of a faraway place but they have to turn their heads to such an angle as to cause permenant deformity. get tils to herlp...hers are perfect!!bye bye

Hi guys,
Sorry it's taken so long for me to post a message. Love the website, it's highly entertaining, even if it only makes me seethe to look at those photos. Glad you're both having a wonderful time, seeing as it's chilly out there at the moment, and I have to endure those beautiful photos from a desk piled with work, I would like to make your time even more 'wonderful' and challenging. Can I see a photo of both you and Tilly windsurfing - and no waiting for the warmer weather. This challenge should help put goose bumps in places you never knew you had...then again maybe not.
Love and stuff speak soon

Ahoy both! Your island trip sounds excellent, and the photos are great. I almost feel I'm living it too. It's very exciting to read all about your 'experiences' - at least you had plenty of privacy, even if it was too cold to take your clothes off!!! I'm afraid the photo that has stuck in my mind though is the one of you eating, wearing that 'What?' face! How well I remember seeing that same expression across the table from me in Pizza Hut! I'm looking forward to seeing lots more photos and intersting info. Richard is on holiday so I'm feeling a bit demob happy for the next week or so. Currently arranging lunch with as many people I can track down! With love and Flakes,
The Saga Lout
