Not much to say except I got the train to Sendai. Then met some awesome people at the hostel. Had good ramen. Found a bar which was 'all you can drink' for ¥400 per half hour. So today I made the short trip out to Himeji as I'd heard the Himeji castle is one of the most beautiful. So I did. And my word, it was worth it. Deer paradise! Made the trip to Nara today! SO MANY DEER EVERYWHERE. Caught a bus to where the temple and pagoda is and as soon as you're in the park area there's deer. Huddling up to people, sniffing them for food. There's stalls where you can buy 'deer biscuits' to feed them. They love those things.
