Today we went over to Santosa Island which is like a little man made blob just off the southern coast of Singapore.
As with the rest of Singapore there was a lot of building work going on as they are building a new hotel and theme park there.
To get there we had to get the Cable car which takes you down to the little port thingy and they have loads of paths that take you off round the island, its a bit alton towersesque.
We went on a luge, which is like a go kart with no engine and handlebars to steer and break then they just let you run riot down the hill, loved this and were thinking it could be a great way to get home from the pub.
We went down to the beach, which was our first taste of sand (even though the beach was man made), but hey, its a start.
Had a swim in the sea and me and coop got told off for trying to swim out to one of the other islands.
We chillaxed on the beach which was next to cafe del mar for a bit, then went for a bimble to the merlion which is some good luck thing that looks over to Singapore.
Claire and Coop bumped in to one of the Hinkley Massive, Wykesy, the night before, so he came with us to the Night Safari. A giant flying squirrel came and sat next to my foot, and Wykesy started a fight between some porcupines over a soft peanut he nicked from my dinner.
We learnt 3 things at the safari
1. Elephants poo 90kgs a day.
2. There are boars whos horns eventually grow through their brains, but the longer the horns, the hotter they are to the females.
3. We are all part of the weeeeb of liiiifeee.
oh and we nearly ran claire over on an electronic train.
