This place is so picturesque again surrounded by mountains. On the way here we went thru a place called Wanaka nice place has a wierd museum place called puzzling world me and katy got lost in the maze for 2 hours. Anyway in Franz Josef glacier we took a trip and walked for a couple of hours on the glacier was really cool (not cold - really good) took lots of pictures of different ice formations

ACE PLACE!!! One of the best atmospheres we have ever experienced.. We want to live here, surrounded by mountains, water, skiing, activities EVERYTHING!! This place is so cool we went on the shotover jet, so wizzed thru a canyon doing donuts in a boat then we went down the shotover river in a raft doing grade 3 - 5 rapids some backwards by mistake.

Since Oamaru we visited Dunedin where cadbury world is, then we travelled thru the Catlins to Invercargill and then to Te Anu. The catlins are lovely as they have many different place and things to see. Te Anu is so so beautiful set in a lake and mountain surrounding.

Very historical town. Went and watched yellow eye penguins waddle up the beach to nest and feed.

In Christchuch now is a lovely city. Very English looking place while we were here the Buskers festival was on and we watched them and their antics. Also went to caddyshack mini golf and the Antarctic centre (Christchurch is the gateway to the Antarctic alot of expeditions start from here).. A must come place to visit..
