Today we woke up to hear the engine start up and then the boat started moving, very wierd to be lying in bed feeling that! Didn't realise it was rocking so much though, so when I stood up I went flying across room! We arrived into Airlie Beach at 9.10 am on our overnight bus, where we said our goodbyes to most of our Fraser group. We had wanted to get an early start this moring because we had a long way to travel and the inland tracks take so long, but as our car was broken we had to wait for the mechanic to arrive. He was meant to be there at 6am but made it at 7am. He couldn't fix it there and then so it stuck the gearbox back together with duct tape! and told us to follow him back to his workshop.
