Kassidy Explores
- Deep into the heart of Boston traffic, I sit excited and nervous for my departure. This is my first trip out of the country and away from the safety blanket known as my parents. I'm equal parts excited, nervous, and sleepy. We're about to take a plane to NYC, then leave NYC and fly to Shannon, Ireland.
- My fathers' parents came to America from just outside Cork, Ireland. This is exciting for me to venture and see the "homeland" but I can't help but wish he could experience it with me. Since the passing of my grandparents family has been increasingly important to me, and I'm hoping to feel even more connected to them by taking this pilgrimage.
- This post is short and sweet, since I've yet to experience anything besides the sweet smell of airport security and $3.00 chips. Stay tuned!
