Gee talk about drama. Since last night when I couldn't web check in, couldn't ring Singapore from the hotel, my phone had no service in Nepal, and I couldn't transfer money to check out this morning. All had simple solutions if only I had known.
Finally got hold of the airline, as the shops where you can ring ISD weren't open the hotel finally managed to get through, to their credit they were trying everything. Turns out the airline site had a problem because of the cancelled booking for some reason. No idea why but wait till I see the travel agent. Second solution was the hotel didn't need a pin I could have used the other card, if only I had known. Will ask next time. Then when I went to pay the line was down for the bank. Aaaargh........ Well at least I'm at the airport with no trouble getting through plenty of airport staff looking at my badges.

TRAVEL TIP: keep a copy of PINs & passwords in more than once place but disguised as other information. Even email yourself a copy, just to be doubly sure

Tonight Singapore, must remember to put cream on skin, it's drying out. And be careful of the pins need to replace one.....oops
