I have managed finally to take some time out of my busy farming schedule to return to the land of the technoologicvally advanced and use the internet (Lia is currently telling me how bad i smell as I commandeer her computer). I feel that in true Douglas fashion, rather then sitting here mindlessly reading your latest updates, it is in fact necessary for me to talk about myself. I have, in the short time since you've left, learnt so much and crossed so many bridges of male dominated agriculture that you would not even believe my progress. You are now the proud father of a succesful and highly demanded cattle whisperer (I'm trying to get them calling me that instead of Weed), stock truck driver, seeder, seed cleaner, feedlot manager and cropping consultant (working on the last one). I have been metaphorically working my arse off since day one and despite the fatigue and muscle pain am absolutely loving it! I have joined a soccer team with my old club and discovered that after 3 and half years the old boots have still got some run left in them!! I have my exam on this coming Monday and as usual am cramming in a magnificent fashion.. Speaking of, I best return to my books.
I hope your travel is as soul cleansing for you as finding my niche in the world has been for me.
Missing you old man....xoxo
Lia
Good to see you avoiding the tourist traps in London and following your own nose about town...a much better way to get a feel for London - the city that was named by New York Magazine as the capital of the world for the 21st century!!!
Claire
Glad to see your doing ok, I quite fancy a trip to Dartmouth now myself. Hope you enjoy London. Claire & Eric :-)

4 lousy photos constitutes an "album"?? Get busy with the camera. By the way, you're not in any of those photos - they could be random photos downloaded off the net for all we know~!

You're going to have to spice up the blog entries if you want us to keep coming back for a look. Hearing about your sloppy goodbye and a postcard photo of some spot in Singapore, is not doing it for me. I want to see some creativity.
Dad
I guess you are well & truly in the U K by now . Hope the flight was good. We've had some heavy showers of rain yesterday & last night. Hopefully rain has gone inland this time.
